This website is owned and operated by SBL a company incorporated in Victoria, Australia and which carries on business, together with others,  under the name Withers SBL. SBL is an incorporated legal practice with number E0021076 regulated by the Legal Services Board of Victoria, Australia.

SBL is a member of an alliance of law firms practising in Australia under the name Withers SBL (Alliance). The alliance comprises Balazs Lazanas & Welch (ARBN 135 587 263) (BLW) a limited liability partnership formed under Delaware law and a partnership for the purposes of the Legal Profession Act 2004 (NSW), Withers Australia a partnership registered in Australia with ABN 19754293435  (WA) and SLB (Alliance Members).

SBL is a separate and independent legal entity from both BLW and WA and neither BLW nor WA take any responsibility for the content of this web site.

Confidentiality and Privilege

Each of the Alliance Members will continue to preserve clients’ confidentiality and legal professional privilege.  Alliance Members may exchange information with each other for the purposes of the Alliance including but not limited to the provision of advice and other work done for you. We may also exchange information about existing or past matters that we have handled but only:

  • to assist with identification of and access to relevant expertise across the Alliance Members; and/or
